CASE STUDIES

Animario is the international contemporary animation film festival of Madrid, with Poland as its invited guest country for the 2024 edition. The identity was inspired by ‘wycinanki’, a traditional Polish paper cutting technique born in rural areas during the XIXth century, with which families would portray and celebrate their daily lives. Parting from this research, the visual identity aims to bring a traditional technique into a contemporary language, mixing the rural and the fantastic, history and modernity.

To communicate each of the five roles explored in the rooms of the exhibition, five logos were designed: visual artist (pink), accumulator (orange), apprentice (green), photographer (black) and collector (yellow), rooms interpreted editorially inside the catalog too.

is a publication that gathers the intervention developed by the artist Claudia Rebeca Lorenzo in the garden of Iturribide Etxea, Basque Country. The prostheses and reflections of branches and roots, elaborated with the zeal that she shapes over hours and endless turns - the weaving and unweaving of Penelope - form a landscape, a semantic field, like Gertrude Stein's A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose; structures that persist in their reiteration, in the zeal of their performance.
